Layton lost both of his front teeth yesterday (Sunday)! A picture is worth a thousand words, right? So here is the play by play....

Apparently it isn't any easier just because your dad does this for a living! Needless to say, the tooth fairy was very generous, especially when it's both front teeth at Christmas time!

I LOVE IT!! Trenton just lost his two bottoms and I was the one who pulled them both. The first one was easy, but it freaked him out and he won't let us touch the other one for weeks. Travis was mad that I pulled it and didn't wait for him. HAHA! The second one was just hanging there and he kept telling us to wiggle it but not pull it. Trav tried to tell him that he would do a better job than I did because it was his job to pull teeth. Well he couldn't get it out and I was tired of wiggling the thing so the next time he came to me I just grabbed tight and it was out. Maybe Trav can pull the next ones. :)

Angie- It's so fun to see your comment on my blog! It's been a long time. We're glad you guys are all doing well. Your cruise looked like a blast. Your kids are adorable and getting so grown up! It'll be fun to keep updated on your family through your blog. I hope our paths will cross in person some time in the future! Have a Merry Christmas and tell your husband hi for us! Love, Shelby and Jeff

I think it might be worse to have a parent who is a dentist. They are not gonna let you get away with whining!!! How awesome is that, he lost them at christmas. Now he can sing that song and mean it!

Hey Angie!! It was so fun to find your blog through Louisville friends. Your family is beautiful and I can't believe how grown up the kids are! What perfect timing that Layton lost his teeth at Christmas time. How funny. We saw Julie and Ryan at Disneyland at few months ago and it made me think of you and Brenda too. Glad to see you're doing well. We'll have to keep up through our blogs, what would we do without blogs? :)
